From blooming beautiful gardens to unique honey farms and the immensely popular Exmoor Zoo, there are so many incredible places to visit close to Home Place Farm! To give you some holiday inspiration, we’ve pulled together some of our favourites.

RHS Rosemoor
Rosemoor seamlessly weaves formal and informal planting to create a magical garden that still looks as though it’s part of the natural landscape. With a huge variety of plants, the garden has been designed to mesmerise visitors year round, so no matter when you visit, you’re sure to be enchanted by this special setting.

Quince Honey Farm
Make like a busy bee and head over to Quince Honey Farm! There is a whole host of things to enjoy including tours, gardens, bee keeping experiences, soft play and a restaurant where you can enjoy homemade meals, light bites and delectable cakes. And, of course, you can pick up some honey to enjoy at home!

Exmoor Zoo
A great option to keep the kids entertained (or just for those who are passionate about animals!), Exmoor Zoo has an exceptional range of animals. Plus, they’re called home by the only black leopard on exhibit in the whole of the UK! Visitors can enjoy plenty of educational talks, experiences, an onsite café and gift shop for those special souvenirs!

Watermouth Castle
Built in 1825, Watermouth Castle is now a leading visitor attraction! With plenty to see and do, ranging from Gnome Land to Merry Go Land, it’s a fabulous day out for all the family, but especially for those with tinier tots in tow! When you’re done exploring, there are multiple eateries on site, plus a picnic area where you can enjoy your own food.

Arlington Court
An incredible historic home and gardens, Arlington Court is home to a carriage museum, pleasure grounds and second handbook shop. Spend a day exploring the magnificent house and gardens, where you’ll discover historic artifacts as well as an outstanding Victorian garden and conservatory filled with exotic plants!
